Sanzhi has consistently upheld its commitment to fostering corporate cultural and creative
advancement. We staunchly advocate for the integration of corporate cultural and creative sectors,
considering it fundamental to the essence of enterprises. Our aim is to instill within enterprises a sense of
corporate and cultural confidence, thereby bolstering their self-development. By providing support in
corporate cultural and creative realms, we strive to cultivate a rational approach to enterprise growth,
grounded in the pursuit of truth and evidence-based decision-making.
At Sanzhi, we firmly believe that corporate culture and creativity serve as potent catalysts for
organizational development. This influence not only caters to the spiritual aspirations of corporate entities
but also furnishes tangible impetus to their cultural evolution.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Shanghai Cultural and Creative Industry Association. Sanzhi
has forged a genuine partnership with the Association, united in our endeavor to propel global cultural
and creative progress. It is our firm conviction that China’s cultural and creative industries are not merely
localized entities but integral contributors to the global cultural landscape.
The developmental narrative of Sanzhi Company unfolds against the backdrop of a quest for
service enhancement and the exploration of novel avenues for cultural evolution. Originating from a
fundamental inquiry into the potential improvement of existing services, the company embarked on a
journey marked by contemplation and innovation. Inspired by the increasing interconnectedness
facilitated by the internet, Sanzhi’s aspirations transcended mere diversification to encompass a deeperexploration of cultural distinctiveness. Delving into the concept of “meme” elucidated by Richard
Dawkins in “The Selfish Gene,” the company discerned profound parallels between cultural evolution and
biological processes.
Dawkins’ notion of memes as replicable cultural units akin to genes in biological evolution
offered a rich framework for understanding the dynamics of cultural dissemination and imitation. The
analogy of memes propagating through human consciousness, akin to viruses infecting cells, underscored
the transformative potential inherent in cultural exchanges. In this light, Sanzhi recognized the critical
factors influencing meme viability: survivability, reproductive prowess, and replication fidelity. These
insights paved the way for a deeper exploration of cultural dynamics and the mechanisms underlying
cultural inheritance and transformation.
Within this framework, cultural change emerged as a nuanced interplay between the replication
and dissemination of memes. The impact of cross-cultural interactions was manifold, giving rise to
diverse outcomes ranging from assimilation to cultural fusion or irreconcilable divergence. The interplay
of meme reproduction and dissemination thus emerged as a dynamic process, shaping the trajectory of
cultural evolution.
Embracing the theory of memes offered a novel lens through which Sanzhi approached cultural
research, revealing discernible patterns underlying seemingly chaotic cultural phenomena. Human agency
emerged as a pivotal force, influencing meme reproduction and shaping the course of cultural evolution.
By exercising control over meme propagation, individuals could play an active role in preserving cultural
essence while mitigating undesirable traits, thereby guiding cultural development towards its zenith. Thus,
Sanzhi’s exploration of meme theory not only enriched its understanding of cultural dynamics but also
provided a framework for fostering cultural innovation and resilience in an interconnected world.
We express our gratitude once more to the Shanghai Cultural and Creative Industry Association.
Sanzhi Association has forged a genuine partnership with the Shanghai Cultural and Creative Industry
Association to advance global cultural and creative development. I firmly maintain the belief that it is not
solely China’s cultural and creative industries that have attained global recognition; rather, they constitute
an essential component of the broader global cultural and creative landscape.
